Sarah has been fond of moving through mountain terrain since childhood, thanks to her dad. She found her love for skimo when she moved to Bend OR, where there is a perfect mix of backcountry terrain and on-piste runs. She qualified for the USA National team from her results at US Nationals; 2nd place in the vertical and 5th place in the individual. In the summer months, Sarah competes in International Skyrunning races. She loves the challenge of moving as efficiently as she can on skis and on foot up and down Pacific Northwest volcanoes, where she holds the women’s fastest known times on Mt. St Helens, Mt. Adams and Mt. Shasta.
