I grew up in Buena Vista, CO. I’ve been playing in the mountains my entire life; through running, skiing, and climbing I continue to explore high alpine terrain as much as possible.
This is my fourth season competing in ski mountaineering. Coming from a ski touring/running background it has been a lot of fun learning a new side of moving through the mountains. I love the efficiency and technical skills required of skimo and competing with other strong mountain athletes.
I work for Aspen Skiing Company at Buttermilk Ski Area where I manage the snowcat department- I love my job and the people I work with. This allows me to be on snow seven days a week, all winter, a huge perk. When I’m not skiing I’m typically spending time with my lovely wife Mackenzie and our cats and doggo.
