Bayden grew up in Joseph, Oregon. In junior high and high school, I did cross country and track but always loved to spend time in the mountains and that is part of what drew me to attend Western Colorado University. At Western I joined the trail running team and was quickly convinced to also join the skimo team so I could spend time in the mountains all year round! Aside from athletics I’m also studying environmental science at Western.
