| USA Skimo Shines at ISMF World Championships |
The ISMF World Championships held in Morgins, Switzerland wrapped up last month with outstanding performances by our entire US team placing sixth in the World Championship Nations Ranking. This performance was lead by a strong showing from the USA Skimo youth athletes, with Griffin Briley amassing three gold medals  in the U20 Men division and Sienna Petersen with bronze  in the U18 Women’s Sprint. Briley teamed up with McCall Birkinshaw to claim bronze in the Youth Mixed Relay.Complete results can be found here. |

| Landman and Paulus Appointed to Board of Directors |
| The United States Ski Mountaineering Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Paulus and David Landman to serve on its Board of Directors. Mike Paulus, a technology company founder and entrepreneur, has been instrumental in accelerating fundraising for USA Skimo. “Skimo is exploding and I’m excited to continue to help USA Skimo grow the sport at all levels,” said Paulus. “Our youth results show that USA Skimo is on the cusp of becoming an international powerhouse. I’m excited to help achieve that goal.” David Landman brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from his time as a board member of USA Climbing, the American Alpine Club, the Juniper Fund as well as an extensive background in the private sector. “As a passionate skier, alpinist and skimo racer, I am thrilled to join the USA Skimo Board. Great things are in store for USA Skimo and our sport,” commented Landman |

| Calling all Skimo Coaches! USA Skimo is excited to announce a Spring Coaches clinic. Springtime is the perfect time to reflect on how your season went while ideas are still fresh in your mind for how to improve for next season. Join us on May 9th – 11th in Salt Lake City for a great weekend of skimo coaching skills. We will have an amazing lecture with the experts at Skimo.co on all of the latest gear and how to wax skins for world class competitions. We will get on snow to discuss skills and drills that are useful in coaching kids at all levels. And we will discuss race specific rules, how to set a course and teach the fine details of racing.
